An optional service · currently a pilot
Follow the MPs you care about.
Keep public data free.
We are testing interest in a £2/month publication tracker. It would save you checking profiles for newly published expenses records—not unlock data that everyone should be able to read.
The proposed tracker
Not launched£2 / month total
Proposed price for a watchlist of up to 10 MPs, not £2 per MP.
- A saved watchlistChoose the MPs you want to follow if the service launches. This waitlist does not ask you to choose any.
- Publication-based email updatesFind out when newly published records for your watched MPs have been imported and checked.
- Context and original sourcesReporting periods, exact published categories and paid/repaid/not-paid status—not scores, accusations or rankings.
The public information stays free
Existing MP searches, profiles, claim records, historical tables and source links stay free. No login or payment is needed to read them.

This is an interest test, not a paid subscription. Joining would mean confirming your email and choosing whether to receive one launch invitation. You would decide separately whether to buy.
The email waitlist is not open yet
We are setting up the MP Expenses email sender. We are not collecting addresses or taking payments in the meantime.
Use the free MP search →Publication alerts—not a live spending feed
IPSA publishes individual business-cost data every two months, usually covering claims processed four to five months earlier. Some costs, including travel, are published as annual totals. A quiet month may have no new records for your watchlist. An alert would describe new published records, not what an MP spent today.

Subject: New published records for a watched MP
Hi,
A new IPSA publication contains records for an MP on your watchlist.
- Watched MP
- Example Member (fictional)
- Reporting period
- The period stated in the original release would appear here.
- What changed
- Newly published records were added to the free profile. Their published categories, amounts and payment statuses would be shown with source links.
The real alert would link to the free MP profile and original IPSA release. No fictional figures or judgement labels are used in this preview.
Publication date is not the date of spending. Different parliamentary duties and constituency circumstances can produce different costs. Claim amounts alone do not establish misconduct.
Will joining charge me £2?
No. There is no checkout or subscription in this pilot. If the tracker launches, a separate offer would explain the price, coverage and cancellation before you choose to pay.
Are expenses alerts running now?
No. We are testing interest first. This page describes a proposed service, and the email preview is illustrative.
MP Expenses is independent of IPSA and Parliament. Read the data methodology and waitlist privacy notice.
